Biography

Dave Kennedy has been established as a freelance photographer in Seattle since 2004 and has collaborated with designers, art directors and creative directors for such distinguished clients as Adobe, ATT, Boeing, Cranium, DDB, Hasbro, IBM, Microsoft, and the University of Washington.

Although a strong focus on fine art has driven much of his photography career he has a great passion for conceptual, advertising, editorial, and portraiture photography.

While accomplished in the studio Dave Kennedy specializes in location photography and makes the world his studio. If you need something photographed in your office, at your home, outside, and especially in the tropics (please!) Dave will bring his studio to you.

That said, Dave has a studio located and available in Seattle's lower Queen Anne area for your studio needs. With 10-foot ceilings, full kitchen and bathroom, and a great southern exposure with a full view of the Puget Sound there's plenty of room to complete most jobs. The studio has high-end digital camera equipment, professional lighting, multiple backdrops, and Dave's expert post-production digital-imaging skills all available to make sure that everything comes out color-corrected, retouched, and suited for your needs.

Dave's support as an instructor and mentor in the photographic community produces new artists with their own vision and passion making sure that he has lot's of competition to keep him on his toes. His visual arts career has led to solo and group exhibitions across the continent, as well as, reviews on NPR.

Dave's advertising, design, production, beauty retouching, account management, and fine art background allows him a well rounded & seasoned approach to get your project, small or large, done on time and on budget.
